Dear Friends,

What sparks the imagination, generates novel or even breakthrough ideas and is the backbone of civilization itself?  Education.  It is a gift what was given to many generations of immigrants to this country.  It unlocked their full potential and launched them into the mainstream of American life and into leadership roles in their community.

It is a gift we continue to offer to the children who attend the schools supported by the Central City School Fund.  African-American, Latino, Sudanese and Vietnamese cultures are part of our rich tradition as Catholics, we provide to others the opportunity only an education can offer.  Something that can change a young person's life forever.
